Welcome to Tommy Koh Tao
In 1933 the island started to be used as a political prison. In 1947 Khuang Abhaiwongse, prime minister at that time, pleaded and received a royal pardon for all prisoners on the island. Everybody was taken to the shore of Surat Thani and Ko Tao was abandoned again.It located near Koh Pangan about 45 Km.The island is well known for scuba diving and snorkeling and there have the most beautiful and fertile coral reefs in Thailand, and also offers some hiking. The island have main road from the beginning of the white sandy beach until the end about 14 Km. Beside, there will have walkway to resort and beautiful sightseeing. |

Tommy Resort is the 1 of the first group where set up in this island. We began with few bungalows,small restaurant, no electricity and use the fishing boat to travel. After that we developed -- we have more rooms, have electric generator, passenger liner, bigger restaurant and we set up the Scuba Diving School. Now, we have opened the resort more over 20 years. Have different styles of room type such as standard room, hotel zone and the private bungalow and we offer good accommodation. Or if you like luxury style we have Luxury room. If you want the high class style and want to see the best sea view, we offer Superior Room. |
Tommy Resort Located between Mae Had Bay and Sai Ree Bay on the west side of Koh Tao.The resort located on Jo Po Ro headland -- the plain liked to the sea. For this feature, every rooms can have very good seaview and can feel the sea breeze all the time. You can also see the wider landscape, surrounded with coral reefs and beautiful naturals.
